1.The function of the Compressor is to remove the refrigerant vapor produced by the evaporator and to deliver the refrigerant it at required high pressure 

2.The Compressor pumps the refrigerant is gaseous from, from the evaporator and Compressor it, i,e, raising its pressure and temperature so it can be Condensed to liquid in the Condenser 

Compressor types by working Principle 

Positive Displacement :-In positive displacement compressors,a certain volume of gas is trapped.In a space that is Continuously reduced by the Compressor Device  

Dynamic Compressors:- in a dynamic type of compressors,The gas is Compressor by being accelerated by impeller.The pressure is further increased in the diffuser where the speed is transformed into pressure.

                        SEMI Hermetic 

The Motor and the Compressor plates are housed inside a 2- piece shell and Cover bolted together☆Used in medium size capacities☆Bolted Shell and Cover compressor Components are accessible for repair and replacement

                         HERMETIC Type

The Motor and the Compressor parts are housed inside and shell used in small size capacities☆Closed/ Welded shell Compressor Components are not accessible for repair and replace ment
